The story of A Christmas Wish…
In a town far away
In a place long ago
There was a small village
All covered in snow
And Each Christmas Eve
Filled the children with glee
As the families all met
To trim the town tree
One little beggar girl
With no family or friends
Finds herself all alone
As the darkness ascends
Peering in on a family
She thinks, “It’s too good to be true!
That something so wonderful
Could happen for you”
As the winter wind blows
And the snow flakes fall down
This little beggar girl
Curls up on the ground
She soon drifts to sleep
In the dark Christmas night
While magic snow fairies
Dance with joy and delight
And as she sleeps in the snow
The Hope of Christmas appears!
To bless this small child
And to dry all her tears
But in the dark, snowy shadows
There’s someone else here…
It’s The Wicked Snow Queen!
Causing chaos and fear!
The Queen hates all goodness
She will freeze the girl’s heart!
For she has never known kindness
And has no love to impart
But Hope isn’t gone
And a battle begins.
Soon it’s two against one
And good always wins.
The Queen is defeated
And Joy is felt all around!
Hope thanks the small girl
And a new hero is crowned!
Then all of a sudden
Right in front of their eyes
Fly in eight magic reindeer
For a North Pole surprise!!!
They soar through the night
Till they finally land
At the home of Saint Nicholas
So majestic and grand!
The elves lead the way
To Santa’s magic Workshop
Where all the toys dance
And the fun is non stop
With a final hooray
Santa enters at last!
A Christmas Wish is whispered
And Christmas Magic is cast.
Our beggar girl awakens
Cold and confused, all alone
Was it all just a dream?
Is she still on her own?
As Silver Bells ring
And Angels welcome the day
A kind family approaches
And the children all play
The mother brings her a coat
And the father some food
They lead her inside
To warm and brighten her mood
A new dress, a new bow
A new family at last?!
They have taken her in
The past is all in the past.
And the little girl knows
If you wish with your might
Your wish might come true
On Christmas Eve Night
